01. Initial Setup
- Import: Double-click the .shortcut file to add it to your Mac.
- Configure: When the "Setup" pop-up appears, enter the names and
phone numbers for your Inner Circle (4 slots for Standard, 10 for Pro).
- Permissions: The first time you run it, click "Always Allow" so it
can access your clipboard and Messages in the background.
02. Setting the Global Hotkey
Since browsers like Safari and Chrome often block right-click "Quick Actions," you must set a hotkey to
trigger the clipboard logic:
- Open the Shortcuts app and double-click Friend-Send.
- Click the Shortcut Details icon (three sliders) in the top right.
- Click Add Keyboard Shortcut and type: Cmd + Shift +
X.
03. How to Share Like a Pro
Method A: The Right-Click
(Text & Local Files)
- Target: Highlighted text or files already saved to your
Mac.
- Action: Right-click → Quick Actions → 🚀 Friend-Send.
- Result: The selected text or file is sent instantly to
your chosen contact.
Method B: The Hotkey (X,
Reddit, & Web Images)
- Target: Images on the web where "Quick Actions" aren't
available.
- Action: Right-click the image and select "Copy Image",
then press Cmd + Shift + X.
- Result: The shortcut grabs the image from your clipboard
and fires it off.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
- Image not sending? Ensure you selected "Copy Image" and not
"Copy Image Address".
- Hotkey not working? Make sure you aren't using a simple
shortcut like Cmd + 5, as browsers usually reserve those for switching tabs.
